Remarks:
1. Basis of preparation
The unaudited consolidated financial statements have been
prepared under the historical cost convention in accordance with
accounting principles generally accepted in Hong Kong and comply
with accounting standards issued by the Hong Kong Society of
Accountants.
2. Earnings per share
The calculation of the earnings per share for the nine months
ended 30th September, 2002 is based on the unaudited consolidated
net profit attributable to shareholders of approximately
HK$40,778,000 (2001: HK$57,899,000) and the 1,699,860,000
(2001: 1,468,211,648) share outstanding assuming 1,359,860,000
shares from the Group's reorganization had been in issue since
1st January, 2001.
Diluted earnings per share is not presented for the nine months
ended 30th September, 2002 and 2001 as there were no potential
dilutive securities in existence during the period.
