1. Basis of presentation
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with
accounting principles generally accepted in Hong Kong
and comply with accounting standards issued by the Hong
Kong Society of Accountants.
2. Earnings per share
The calculation of basic earnings per share for the
9 months ended 31 December 2002 is based on the
Group's profit attributable to shareholders of
HK$33,748,000 (2001: HK$58,765,000) and 809,818,182
shares (2001: 720,000,000 shares) in issue during the
period.
Diluted earnings per share is not presented because
there were no dilutive potential ordinary shares
outstanding during the period.
