CHINA DATACAST<08016> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of China Data Broadcasting Holdings Limited (the
"Company"), trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from
9:30am today (16/2/2004) pending the release of an announcement in 
relation to clarification of unusual increases in price and volume of the 
shares of the Company on 13 February 2004.
