Remarks:
1. Basis of presenation
All significant intercompany balances and transactions, including
intercompany profits, are eliminated on consolidation. The financial
statements are prepared using uniform accounting policies for like
transactions and other events in similar circumstances.
The consolidated results have been prepared in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (¡§IFRS¡¨) issued by the
International Accounting Standards Board.

3. Earnings per share
The calculation of basic and diluted earnings per share are based on
the Group¡¦s profit attributable to shareholders of RMB24,922,000
(2003:RMB18,829,000).
The basic earnings per share is based on the weighted average of
442,465,000(2003:440,917,000) ordinary shares in issue during the year.
The diluted earnings per share is based on 444,046,000
(2003:440,993,000)ordinary shares which is the weighted average number
of ordinary shares in issue during the year plus the weighted average
of 1,581,000 (2003:76,000) ordinary shares deemed to be issued at no
consideration if all outstanding options had been exercised.
