Remarks:
1. Basis of preparation
The Company was incorporated as a joint stock limited company in
the People's Republic of China (the "PRC") on 18 December 2000.
The overseas listed shares with a nominal value of RMB0.10 each
(the "H Shares") in the registered share capital of the Company
were listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of The Stock Exchange
of Hong Kong Limited since 29 October 2002.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") approved
by the International Accounting Standards Board and
interpretations issued by the Standing Interpretations Committee
of the International Accounting Standard Committee, the disclosure
requirements of the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and the Rules
governing the Listing of Securities on the GEM. They have been
prepared on the historical cost basis.

3.Income tax expenses
For the nine months ended 30 Sept. 2006 ("the Relevant Period"),
the PRC income tax of the Company has been provided at the
applicable income tax rate on the assessable profit in
accordance with the relevant tax laws and regulations.

4.Earnings per share
Basic earnings per share for the Relevant Period is computed by
dividing net profit attributable to shareholders of approximately
RMB86,526,000 (2005: approximately RMB70,213,000) by the weighted
average number of 1,251,500,000 ordinary shares (2005:1,251,500,000
ordinary shares) in issue during the Relevant Period.
Diluted earnings per share for the nine months ended 30 September
2005 and 2006 have not been calculated because there were no
potential dilutive ordinary shares outstanding during the nine
months ended 30 September 2005 and 2006.
5.Dividend
The Board does not recommend the payment of any dividend for the
nine months ended 30 September 2006.
