FOUR SEAS TRAVEL INTERNATIONAL LIMITED

The Board wishes to announce that the RTA has reinstated the
travel agents license of Four Seas Tours with effect from 31st March,
1999 and the TIC has reinstated the membership of Four Seas Tours
with effect from 1st April, 1999.
The board of directors (`Board') of Four Seas Travel International
Limited (the `Company') wishes to announce that the Hong Kong Four
Seas Tours Limited (`Four Seas Tours') has received a notice from the
Registrar of Travel Agents (`RTA') dated 31st March, 1999 to
reinstate its travel agents license with effect from 31st March,
1999. The Board also wishes to announce that Four Seas Tours has
received a notice from the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong
(`TIC') dated 31st March, 1999 to reinstate its membership with
effect from 1st April, 1999. Furthermore, Four Seas Tours has agreed
the repayment schedule of amounts outstanding under the Bank
Settlement Plan with the International Air Transport Association
(`IATA') and continues to be an accredited agent of IATA. Details
regarding the Bank Settlement Plan are set out in the `Letter from
the Board' of the offeree document dated 11th March, 1999 (the
`Offeree Document').
After the reinstatement of both the travel agents license and the
membership of TIC, Four Seas Tours has now commenced its business
operations as usual.
The Board is now working closely with PricewaterhouseCoopers to
assess the actual working capital requirements of the Company and
there have been no new demands for immediate repayment of bank
borrowings and loans since March 1999. Previous demands on repayment
of loans are still under negotiation. Furthermore, there is no change
in the status of outstanding litigation since March 1999. Details
regarding the above are set out in the `Letter from the Board' of the
Offeree Document.

the Company.
