Postponement of the Announcement of the Final Results of the Group to 26
May 1999

The Board of Directors of Management Investment & Technology (Holdings)
Limited (the "Company") announces that due to complexity of accounting
issues of its associated group, Digital Lighting Holdings Limited and its
subsidiaries ("Digital Lighting Group"), the auditors of Digital Lighting
Group are still in the process of finalising the audit of Digital Lighting
Group. Accordingly, the Company is unable to announce the audited
consolidated results of the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") for
the year ended 31 December 1998 on 20 May 1999. The announcement of the
audited consolidated results of the Group for the year ended 31 December
1998 will be postponed to 26 May 1999.
