Remarks:
1. No analysis of turnover and profit from continuing operations and
discontinued operation is made as all turnover and profit are derived from
continuing operations in both periods.
2. Profit after taxation and minority interest in the previous period
included an additional gain of HK$52.4 million in respect of additional
profit derived from the disposal by the Company of a 26.2% interest in
Asia Aluminum Group Limited, a major subsidiary of the Company engaging in
the manufacturing and sales of aluminum extrusion and stainless steel
business.

4. The directors of the Company declared an interim dividend of HK1.2
cents for the Period, payable to shareholders whose names appear on the
Register of Members on 19 April 2004. Dividend warrants are to be
dispatched to shareholders on or before 26 April 2004.
5. In addition to the interim dividend of HK1.5 cents, a special
dividend of HK1.0 cent was also paid to the shareholders of the Company in
the previous period.
