ZIJIN MINING<02899> - Amendment to Results Announcement (Advised by ZIJIN MINING)

The Stock Exchange has received a message from Fujian Zijin Mining 
Industry Co., Ltd. which is reproduced as follows:-


"We refer to our Results Announcement Form published on the HKEx website
 on 6th April 2004 (the "Summary").

Kindly be notified that the following rectifications shall be made to the 
Summary due to typographical errors:

(i)     the B/C Dates for both Final Dividend and Annual General Meeting 
shall be "28 April 2004 (Wednesday) to 27 May 2004 (Thursday), both dates 
inclusive";  

(ii)    in respect of "Other Distribution for Current Period", there will 
be "Every 10 new shares for every 10 existing shares"; and 

(iii)   the B/C Dates for the Other Distribution shall be "28 April 2004 
(Wednesday) to 27 May 2004 (Thursday), both dates inclusive".

With the above rectifications, the Summary shall be in line with our 
Results Announcement and Notice of Annual General Meeting published in the 
press and on the HKEx website on 6th April 2004"
