ALPHA GENERAL<00073> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of Alpha General (Holdings) Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares will be suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(12/10/2004) pending the issue of an announcement by the Company in 
relation to a proposed privatisation exercise.
