ITC CORP PREF<00206> - Parallel Trading

Market participants are requested to note the parallel trading in the
preference shares of ITC Corporation Limited ("ITC CORP PREF") will cease 
after the close of business on Wednesday, 08/12/2004.  As from the close 
of business on that day, the counter for trading in the existing 
preference shares (stock code: 2944) of ITC CORP PREF as represented by 
old share certificates will be withdrawn and trading in the new preference 
shares of ITC CORP PREF will only be under the following arrangements: -
