ALPHA GENERAL<00073> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of Alpha General (Holdings) Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares will be suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(20/12/2004) pending the issue of an announcement of the results of the 
Court Meeting and the Special General Meeting in relation to the proposed 
privatization of the Company.
