ZIJIN MINING<02899> - Amendment to Results Announcement (advised by ZIJIN MINING)

The Stock Exchange has received a message from Zijin Mining Group Co., 
Ltd. (the "Company") which is reproduced as follows:-

With reference to the results announcement form for the year ended 
31/12/2004 submitted to the Exchange on 7/4/2005, the Company would like 
to inform that:-

"The Company has omitted to fill "Issue 10 new shares for every 10 
existing ordinary shares" in the item of "Other Distribution for Current 
Period", and "28/4/05 to 27/5/05" in the item of "B/C Dates for Other 
Distribution". It is an accidental omission due to a clerical mistake."
