HENDERSON CHINA<00246> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of Henderson China Holdings Limited ("HCHL"), trading in 
its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(3/6/2005) pending the release of an announcement relating to the review 
of the Cancellation Price by Henderson Land Development Company Limited 
("HLD") and the issue of a no subsequent increase statement by HLD 
relating to the proposed privatization of HCHL.
