Market participants are requested to note that the name of 
Shimao China Holdings Limited has been changed to "Shimao 
International Holdings Limited". Accordingly, the stock short 
name of its ordinary shares (stock code: 649) will also be 
changed to "SHIMAO INT'L" with effect from Wednesday, 06/07/2005.
