2. (LOSS)/EARNINGS PER SHARE
(a) Basic (loss)/earnings per share
The calculation of basic (loss)/earnings per share is based on a loss
attributable to shareholders of HK$41,814,000 (2004: a profit of HK$5,537
,000) and the weighted average of 1,061,627,920 shares (2004: 1,061,627,
920 shares) in issue during the year.
(b) Diluted (loss)/earnings per share
Diluted (loss)/earnings per share for the years ended 31 March 2005 and
2004 are not presented because the existence of the potential shares
outstanding during the both years have an anti-dilutive effect on the
calculation of diluted (loss)/earnings per share.
