NEW WORLD TMT<00301> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of New World TMT Limited, trading in its shares has been
suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today (2/11/2005) pending release of 
an announcement relating to a proposed privatisation of New World TMT 
Limited by New World Development Company Limited.
