The calculation of earnings per share - basic is based on the Group's 
profit attributable to shareholders for the period of HK$137,260,000 (
2004: HK$57,339,000) and on 398,390,400 ordinary shares in issue 
throughout the two six-month periods ended 30th September 2005 and 2004.
