SUNDAY COMM<00866> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of SUNDAY Communications Limited (the "Company"), trading
in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(15/12/2005) pending the release of an announcement in respect of the 
results of the meeting convened at the direction of the Grand Court of the 
Cayman Islands and the extraordinary general meeting of the Company both 
to be held on 15th December, 2005 for approval of the proposed 
privatisation of the Company by way of a scheme of arrangement under 
Section 86 of the Companies Law of the Cayman Islands.
