NEW WORLD TMT<00301> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of New World TMT Limited (the "Company"), trading in its
shares will be suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today (13/1/2006)
pending the release of an announcement relating to the results of the 
Court Meeting and the Extraordinary General Meeting relating to the 
proposed privatisation of the Company.
