At the request of CITIC International Financial Holdings Limited, trading 
in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today (24/3/
2006) pending for the publication of an annnouncement of price sensitive 
information in relation to a possible very substantial acquisition and 
connected transaction.
