Remarks:
(1) In 2005, the Group adopted the newly revised Hong Kong
Financial Reporting Standards, which became effective on
1 January, 2005.
(2) Turnover and profit from operations amounted to RMB678,606,000
and RMB207,653,000 respectively for the year ended 31 December, 2005
and RMB464,178,000 and RMB153,116,000 respectively for the previous
year were all generated from continuing operations of the Group.
(3) The calculation of earnings per share is based on the earnings
for the year of RMB195,067,000 (2004: RMB123,091,000) and the
weighted average of 618,465,753(2004:600,000,000) ordinary shares
in issue during the year.
(4) The calculation of diluted earnings per share is based on
earnings for the year of RMB195,067,000 (2004: RMB123,091,000)
and the weighted average of 618,465,753(2004: 600,000,000)
ordinary shares after adjusting for the effects of all dilutive
potential ordinary shares as shown below:
