ASIA ALUMINUM<00930> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of Asia Aluminum Holdings Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(3/5/2006) pending the release by the Company of an announcement on 
results of the meetings to be held on 3 May 2006 on the proposed 
privatisation of the Company.
