ORIENT POWER<00615> - Amendment to Results Announcement (Advised by ORIENT POWER)

The Stock Exchange has received a message from Orient Power Holdings
Limited which is reproduced as follows:-

"Refer to the Annual Results Announcement dated 26th April 2006 (which was 
released on the Stock Exchange's website on 27th April, 2006 "Website" and 
published on the press on 28th April, 2006 "Press Announcement" ) and 
would like to clarify as follows:

1.      Note 1 - Business Segments 2004

The following clarification are necessary, due to typographical errors:
a)      The amount of segment results for "Home entertainment" and "
Corporate and others" should be "HK$43,274,000" and "HK$256,000" instead 
of "HK$42,574,000" and "HK$956,000" respectively on the Website;

b)      The amount of "Share of profit and (losses) of associates" should 
be stated as "HK$12,836,000" in the column of In-car electronics on the 
Press Announcement.

2.      Note 2 - Other Income and Gains

Due to the editing error, the following items under "Other income and 
gains" should be amended as follows:

In addition, due to a typographical error, "Promotional income" of 
HK$850,000 and "Foreign exchange gains arising from the translation of 
bank loans, net" of HK$2,227,000 were omitted and should be added to the 
table in note 2."
