At the request of Egana Jewellery & Pearls Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(7/7/2006) pending an announcement relating to a proposal to be made to 
the shareholders of the Company by EganaGoldpfeil (Holdings) Limited.
