CHINA RES CMENT<00712> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of China Resources Cement Holdings Limited, trading in its 
shares and the convertible bonds (stock code: 2512) has been suspended 
with effect from 9:30 a.m. today (14/07/2006) pending their withdrawal of 
listing from the Stock Exchange from 9:30 a.m on Wednesday, 26 July 2006
which is subject to the Scheme of Arrangement becoming effective. The 
Scheme of Arrangement is expected to become effective on Tuesday 
25 July 2006.
