At the request of Egana Jewellery & Pearls Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(11/9/2006) pending an announcement relating to the results of Court 
Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company regarding the 
proposed privatisation of the Company.
